Silver Mountain Zinfandel

This Zinfandel from Silver Mountain appears intense red in the glass with elegant violet reflections. In the aroma, you meet ripe forest berries, an intense sweetness and a fine spicy touch from barrel aging. Full-bodied and nicely balanced, you are bombarded by ripe red berries, a deliciously sweet element and a small bite of spice that brings the expression together.

Taste: Here, the wine is full-bodied and beautifully balanced with lots of ripe red berries with a deliciously sweet element and a small bite of spice in beautiful harmony. Elegant and full of fruit with delicious soft tannins that finish in beautiful harmony.
Server for: Almost all meat, preferably poultry with sweet accompaniments or with mild cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C

After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery, where they are lightly pressed. It then goes through a traditional fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The temperatures during fermentation are kept at 22-26 degrees to preserve the grapes' fresh fruit and typicality in the final wine. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 2-3 months in a mixture of American and French oak barrels. Here the wine gathers and achieves the desired balance.
