Paul John Bold Peated it is fully peated whiskey from India where the peats are brought to Goa from Islay.

Scent: After a whiff of smoke, Manuka honey, pungent spice and bourbon red licorice notes take over.
Taste: It melts in your mouth – has the deepest flavor that rolls in like waves. At first it feels sublimely silky and flavored with oak-like honey. And just when you think you've survived, the surprise comes – a new wave of spice, followed by a smoky ambience that fills the mouth and leaves behind a tidal wave of dry molasses, peat and a touch of copper.
Aftertaste: Ball has a light finish with a hint of copper that slowly emerges. You can also discover fantastic smoked mocha, shaped by delicate spices

The whiskey house:

Paul John Peated single malt from the sunny shores of Goa, where there are many fresh water springs and tropical heat, so Goa was a natural choice for where the Single Malt should be created. A year-round tropical climate naturally accelerates the maturation of the whiskies. The angels' share (evaporation) is about 8% per year. Single Malten's unique taste experiences are not least due to the intense character of the special barley that grows at the foot of the Himalayas.

In 2004, Michael D'Souza became Master Distiller at John Distilleries, where the first distillation took place in 2008. In 2012, Paul John launched his Single Malts in the UK, and has since won countless awards and recognitions worldwide. Mac Y is proud to be able to introduce Paul John Single Malts in Denmark.
