Smell and taste:
Although the whiskey is a whopping 57.1%, it is very round and smooth. Intense notes of raisins and candied orange with dried fruits are experienced together with peach and apricot, there is no overpowering sweetness even though there is beeswax and honey, which gives a slightly lively sour mineral note.

This Speyside malt has completed its small 13 year cask aging with the final 12 months on PX sherry, which has given the whiskey a lot of natural fruit sweetness from the sweet sherry.
