The Macallan Harmony Collection – Green Meadow is an exclusive single malt, in their Harmony Collection Travel Edition. It was created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney to celebrate the lush, fertile Scottish landscapes that connect all those who have stood on them for generations.
Scent: Fresh orange and lemon, wild primrose, petrichor, honeydew melon, bluebells.
Taste: Rich lemon, barley sugar, creamy vanilla, almonds, fresh oak.
Aftertaste: Sweet, fragrant, long and creamy.
The McCartney sisters' love of Scotland stems from their memories of spring days on the family farm in the Scottish countryside, awash with color as the days grow longer. They describe nature as both energetic and calm, opposing qualities that are revived by this collaboration. This attachment to the land inspires happy memories of family, sisterhood and community.
Using a combination of sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks, The Macallan Whiskey Mastery Team has drawn inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands to create this distinct release reminiscent of wild meadows, with a lively, primrose-scented finish.
This is the first time that Stella and Mary enter into a partnership, a creative union between the McCartney sisters. This debut joint project combines their creative talents in a collaboration that allows them to celebrate their deep memories of Scotland.
This collaboration celebrates the shared values of The Macallan and The McCartneys, where love and respect for the natural world are central.

About the Distillery
The Macallan Distillery is a world famous whiskey distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, the distillery has established itself as one of the most prestigious and recognized producers of single malt whiskey in the world.
Located on the River Spey in beautiful surroundings, The Macallan Distillery is known for its traditional distilling method and uncompromising quality. The distillery's ethos is based on combining the noble art of distilling with a relentless pursuit of perfection.
The Macallan is proud of its unique production process, which starts with the selection of the finest malted barley varieties. The distillery uses only the best ingredients and traditional methods to create exceptional single malt whiskey of the highest quality.
A key component of Macallan's production process is distillation in the characteristic "curiously small stills". These small copper stills are one of the distillery's signature features and give the whiskey its distinctive taste and aroma.
Another important factor is the distillery's extensive use of sherry casks to mature their whiskies. The Macallan is known for being one of the few distilleries; who continue to use traditional sherry casks that add a depth of complexity and richness to their whiskies. They work closely with bodegas in Spain to secure the finest sherry casks for the maturation process.
The Macallan Distillery is also known for having an impressive whiskey warehouse that houses some of the oldest and most exclusive casks in the whiskey world. These rare and precious whiskeys are the distillery's most exclusive releases and are sought after by collectors and connoisseurs worldwide.
