Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 008 is bottled at the strength it came out of the cask, this delicious amber golden dram unchilled, filtered, unaffected and untamed, the closest you'll get to opening the cask yourself. Aged in one-third sherry casks, two-thirds refill casks and some bourbon casks.

Scent: Delicious apple tart malt tones emerge from the glass with hints of peach, vanilla, nutmeg and white chocolate
Taste: Thick rounded mouthfeel with a peppery tinge of caramel and popcorn, ripe banana mingles with soft oak and fruit.
Aftertaste: Bold with a gloriously thick mouthfeel and a lovely, lingering, oak-infused finish.

The Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 008 packaging is 100% reusable. Free of magnets and plastic, sourced from FSC approved suppliers and almost exclusively in Scotland.

When we produce this bottle, our liquid waste is cleaned in CO2-capturing tube beds and our solid waste is harvested with enough energy to power 354 homes each year. We also harness the power of the wind to help us reach our destination by getting all our electricity from wind turbines.

Glengoyne has been producing exceptional single malt whiskey for nearly 200 years. The entire product range is barrel-aged in the finest oak barrels in traditional "dunnage" warehouses. Glengoyne adheres to its six principles:
