This Foursquare 2010 Exceptional Cask Selection, is a limited release, Single Blended Rum aged 12 years. Aged in Ex-Bourbon Barrels from the Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados. And the latest in their annual vintage-dated releases.

It is bottled with no added sugar, flavorings or colorings and is bottled at a full cask strength of 60% alcohol (ABV)

Scent: Vanilla, tropical fruits such as mango and grilled pineapple, red berries, burnt sugar, bananas, coconut, acetone and licorice.
Taste: Offers more vanilla and caramel along with banana, stone fruit, cloves, black pepper and oak tannin.

Try possibly adding a drop of water releases more tropical fruit notes and a floral element that brightens the whole affair.

About the Distillery

Foursquare Distillery is a rum distillery located on the southern Caribbean island of Barbados. It was founded by Richard Seale, a fourth generation rum producer and master distiller. The distillery is known for producing high-quality, hand-crafted rum using traditional distillation methods; and premium ingredients, such as locally grown sugar cane.

The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, distilling operations and blending are currently managed by Richard Seale, 4th generation trader/distiller from RL Seale & Co.

Foursquare Distillery has earned a reputation for its exceptional rums and has won numerous awards and accolades from the international spirits community. Its product line includes a range of aged rums, including the popular Foursquare 2005 and Foursquare Premise, as well as limited edition releases that showcase the distillery's expertise and creativity.
