Fiorino Toscana Rosso IGP
Fiorino Toscana Rosso IGP is particularly soft with velvety tannins and delicious aromas of cherry, blueberry and a bit of spice. A wine many will fall for and which goes incredibly well with both Italian and Danish cuisine.
Scent: Characterized by the classic cherry of the Sangiovese grape and a slightly spicy touch of basil.
Taste: Deliciously full-bodied with a large bouquet of fruit and notes of cherry, blueberry and a spicy touch, a round and full-bodied wine with silky smooth tannins from barrel ageing.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
When the Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza and cheeses come to the table, this is the right companion, Fiorino will also be able to stand up to Danish food both with and without spices.
Fiorino Toscana Rosso IGP is made from the Sangiovese grape mixed with Merlot and Cabernet as well as a small amount of local grapes. Sangiovese also provides the backbone for famous wines such as Brunello and Chianti Classico. The grapes are harvested from fields in the Tuscany district, and the vinification is traditional. Fiorino is aged 9 months in oak barrels.

Tuscany is the most important and famous wine region in Central Italy. The Tuscan landscape is undulating, of which 68% consists of mountains. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 150 to 500 meters above sea level. The climate is optimal for growing wine grapes, and the Sangiovese grape in particular has optimal conditions in the area.
Fiorino has the designation IGP, Indicazione Geografica Protetta, a wine category that was introduced by law in Italy in 1992. Here, the producer has the opportunity to play a little more than within the stricter Chianti legislation.
