Ron Cubaney har navnet fra sin tidlige tid da brand’et stadig havde hjemstavn i Cuba. Cubaney flyttede dog til Den Dominikanske Republik pga. den politiske uro, selv om de flyttede har de dog , holdt fast i sin traditioner af produktion af den cubanske stilarter i deres rom.
